Partner Relations Manager


Engage, Lead and Foster Relationships and maintain close communication between Sixthman, the Artist and Brand Partners of our Events (at land or sea) and other entities involved in our programs for 4-5 events each year.

Partner Relations (Relationships, Communication, Expectations, Guidance, Finances):

  • Develop solid relationships with partners by communicating event information regularly to earn trust and familiarity and to ensure partner feels informed and valued to increase likelihood of partner renewing event
  • Learn to develop a set of expectations for partners as to what to expect during each phase of their events including any key dates for decisions or approvals
  • Make and guide partners through timelines for the launch, flight and execution phases of their event, balancing the importance of the relationship, priorities to move the event forward and the best interest of the event's financial outcome
  • Begin to get an understanding of the event's financial budget including revenue streams, expense categories, and how cabin inventory impacts the event profit for the partner and Sixthman including assisting with the building budgets for events and being able to speak to the daily sales report for the partner
  • Listen in on Sail Today Reports, Pre-Settlement, and Settlement discussions with partners to develop an understanding of the Settlement process
  • Proactively communicate approved event information to partners, including inventory sold, current trends and the financial projections of the event
  • Be aware of the status of revenue holds, non-revenue holds, active upgrade plans, sales trends, cabin inventory remaining and promotions
  • Proactively follow-up with partners to obtain necessary decisions and approvals (while understanding partner might have other projects competing for their time), be flexible with each partner knowing that some may be in different time zones and conversations may be had before or after Sixthman business hours
  • Be flexible and adaptable, understanding that different partners operate differently and finding the right approach for each individual partner
  • Work closely with internal teams including:
    • Marketing team to understand marketing and revenue management plans
    • Production team to understand event schedule and host oriented activity needs
    • Finance/Inventory teams to understand budget variances and inventory status
    • Partner Relations and Bus Dev team to learn process best practices and tools
    • Artist Relations team to help lead conversations about activities, collaborations etc. that are important to the partner and event
    • Talent Buying team to stay in the know of the overall event lineup as it pertains to the partners ideas and expectations
    • Warrior team to build the necessary aspects of the event (i.e. launch, flight, landing, etc…)
    • Design/IT Teams to develop necessary timelines and artwork for event launches and renewals
    • Tour Managers to communicate specific host needs
  • Travel to see partners face to face 1-2 times per year prior to or following the event to help garner the strength of the partnership and seek any necessary approvals in applicable for the event
  • Work with the Partner Relations Team on a Home Team system to coordinate launch timelines and communicate with Partner while other Partner Team is executing events at land or sea venues
  • Attend several of the Company’s Events annually and serve in the Partner Relations lead role performing various duties onsite, also attend multiple additional events as the Partner Relations assist role broadening your understanding of the overall role.



  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience preferred
  • Experience with music or hospitality industry preferred
  • Must have good verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong relational skills including diplomacy, positivity and respectful attitude
  • Strong creativity balanced with strong organization skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes or challenges
  • Computer proficiency (Email, Word, and strong Excel skills)
  • Must be located in Greater Atlanta Area 
  • Candidate must be willing and able to comply with any mandatory safety protocols required to enter Sixthman’s office or sail on Sixthman’s events, including but not limited to COVID-19 vaccination.




Own decision making and informed recommendations related to ensuring successful launch, flight, advance and landing of the Event for all parties involved.
